January 2012 saw a total of 43 dental and medical volunteers in two seperate parts of Fiji Taveuni Island and Yanggeta Island. March 2012 will see another Volunteer mission to Taveuni Island.

In 2008 The Loloma Foundation saw and treated well oversix thousand patientsIn Fiji and The Solomon Islands.

On a visit in June of 2000 there was a six-year-old child in Lalati village that died from dehydration caused by untreated diarrhea. A $3.00 bottle of Kaopectate and a bit of knowledge could have saved her life. We vowed to try to make a difference.

The schools we supply are flourishing.
In January 2012 1000 backpacks filled with scholl supplies will be given to Fijian children. Our Sister Patrica McLaughlin Scholarship Fund, funded by rummage sales of donated items in Fiji, will provide in excess of 50 high school  scholarships to deserving students.

Our rummage sales also fund village projects including village water catchment systems, village One Light per Bure Solarization, and in 2012 we will construct a new kinde school.

I recognize many of the clothes running around the island now as ones that have been donated.  To see a whole village dressed in donated items is a powerful sight.  This is something I wish you all could witness, your clothing being passed down from family member to family member till it is literally hanging by its last thread.

We ask that you help with our cause from the heart.  We looking for donations of clothing, school supplies, medical items, hygienic supplies, and dental care items.  Money is very much needed to purchase the specialized medication needed to treat the scabies.  All items are needed and very much appreciated. We are now able to offer tax benefits for those of you who would like to make a cash donation.

Thanking you in advance,

The Loloma Foundation
