on 2nd Solomon Islands Mission
Team of 24 volunteers are preparing for an adventure of a lifetime
Led by medical director P. Lance Hendricks, MD, project coordinator Linda Kwasny, and Solomon Island coordinator Eileen Natuzzi, MD, a group team of twenty-four volunteers, including doctors, optomitrists, dentists and support people will depart for the Solomon Island on August 30th. These unselfish individuals not only donate their time and talent, but also pay their expenses.

The Solomon Islands is a wide island nation that lies East of Papua New Guinea and consists of many islands: Choiseul, the Shortland Islands; the New Georgia Islands; Santa Isabel; the Russell Islands; Nggela (the Florida Islands); Malaita; Guadalcanal; Sikaiana; Maramasike; Ulawa; Uki; Makira (San Cristobal); Santa Ana; Rennell and Bellona; the Santa Cruz Islands and three remote, tiny outliers, Tikopia, Anuta, and Fatutaka

Humanity Lends a Hand
Yasawa Island Mission, January 2009
We experienced the worst of times and the best of times on our January mission to Fiji.
Our arrival was perfectly aligned with the largest deluge of rain in 60 years, flooding the western side of Fiji in Nadi, destroying infrastructure and leaving many villages in the Yasawa Islands with no viable food from their crops. Partnering with Navutu Stars Resort we had an extremely productive mission.
