Solomon Islands Medical/Eye/Dental Mission July15-24 2018

Many of our past volunteers have asked when we would be organizing another trip to the Solomon Islands. Through the generosity of the owners of the Bilikiki, Kellie and Sam , the Loloma Foundation has been given the distinct opportunity to once again return to this pristine and culturally unique country to offer a week of medical care to the Florida and Russell Islanders.

BoatKid500This area is Kellie and Sam’s backyard on the Bilikiki and they have asked us to bring our team and clinics to their friends who, because of the remoteness, would not be able to have the luxury of clinical health care.

We are looking for the following volunteers:
We are also in need of an eye team. Our optometry teams, using rudimentary equipment, provide primary eye care including assessing for eye pathology, providing treatment of eye disease when possible, referring for cataract and other eye surgeries when indicated, and providing reading glasses and protective sunglasses.

Pediatrician, internal medicine, dermatology, family practice, women’s health (NP or GYN)
